FOR HOWREY, IT WAS A WEEK TO FORGET
It was another rough week for Howrey. On Jan. 19, intellectual property rainmaker and Howrey Vice Chairman Henry Bunsow jumped to Dewey & LeBoeuf’s San Francisco office. (Bunsow’s book of business is worth an estimated $20 million, said two former partners.) The same day, Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced that it acquired Howrey’s office in Taipei, Taiwan. Then Brussels-based Trevor Soames, co-chairman of global antitrust, resigned from the firm on Jan. 20.
