BAER HIGGINS FRUCHTMAN (Chicago): Janet Baer, Roger Higgins and Rebecca Fruchtman launch a new firm in Chicago that will focus on large Chapter 11 representations with special emphasis on claims work, post-confirmation matters, counseling creditors and equity holders, and acting as conflicts and committee counsel. Previously, Baer and Higgins were partners at, and Fruchtman was of counsel to, Kirkland & Ellis.
CONNOLLY BOVE LODGE & HUTZ (Wilmington, Del.): Scott Miller, co-chairman of the firm’s patent litigation section and vice chairman of the trademark and copyrights section, has been named partner in charge of the firm’s Los Angeles office, succeeding John McConaghy. Miller’s new responsibilities will include expanding the firm’s West Coast presence.
