WINSTEAD (Dallas): Andrew Fono joins the firm’s energy and ­environmental practice group as partner in the Houston office and will focus on representing clients in environmental enforcement litigation, real estate and corporate transactions involving affected properties, and related regulatory compliance matters. Previously, Fono was a partner at Haynes and Boone.

GIBSON, DUNN & CRUTCHER (Los Angeles): William Dawson, Jeffrey Chapman, Michael Raiff, Robert Little and Robert Walters join the firm as partners in the Dallas office. Dawson will focus on accountant and lawyer liability. Chapman will focus on mergers and acquisitions. Raiff will focus on class actions, media and entertainment litigation. Little will focus on mergers and acquisitions and corporate transactions. Walters will focus on business and antitrust litigation. Previously, Dawson, Chapman, Raiff and Little were partners at Vinson & Elkins. Walters was executive vice president and general counsel at Energy Future Holdings Corp.
