Cypress Texas Lloyds filed a petition for writ of mandamus. The relator is a defendant in Cause No. D-183,180, Kevin Newman and Chantel Newmanv. Cypress Texas Lloyds, et al. Relator seeks a writ compelling the Honorable Bob Wortham, Judge of the 58th District Court, to withdraw its order granting a motion to compel discovery. We note our jurisdiction over this matter and the parties. See Tex. Gov’t Code Ann. § 22.221 (West 2004).

Relator alleges that on February 14, 2011, the trial court made a verbal order that relator produce allegedly confidential documents by February 15, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. Relator alleges prejudice will result if the production of documents occurs before the issues raised in the petition for writ of mandamus can be resolved.
