MECKLER BULGER TILSON MARICK & PEARSON (Chicago): Julia Molander, Howard Garfield, Irene Yesowitch, Jason Geller, Karen Uno, Dan Crawford and Fulton Smith III join the firm’s new office in San Francisco as partners. Molander, whose practice concentrates on the insurance industry, will serve as managing partner of the office. Garfield, Yesowitch, Geller, Uno, Crawford and Smith will focus their practices on insurance, labor and employment litigation. Previously, Molander was a partner at Sedgwick. Garfield, Yesowitch, Geller and Uno were previously partners at Long & Levit. Crawford continues as executive vice president and general counsel at Edgewood Partners Insurance Center. Smith was previously senior of counsel to the Barber Law Group.
FULBRIGHT & JAWORSKI: Ken Komoroski, Amy Barrette and Jeremy Mercer join the firm’s energy and environmental practices as partners in the firm’s new Canonsburg, Pa., office. Komoroski, who represents oil and gas producers and pipeline companies, will head the new office. Barrette and Mercer will focus their practices on commercial litigation involving oil and gas. Previously, Komoroski, Barrette and Mercer were partners at K&L Gates.
