Trademark lawyers expect seismic change when a recent decision to expand the 22 generic top-level domains, such as .com and .org, to an almost unlimited number takes effect.
On June 20, the board of directors of the Internet Corp. for Assigned Names and Numbers approved a plan to allow generic top-level domain registration of almost any word in any language.
