D.C. MOVES

Chuck Knauss, 55, and Shannon Broome, 48, have joined Katten Muchin Rosenman’s Washington office as co-chairman of the environmental practice and chairwoman of the air quality and climate-change practice, respectively. Knauss focuses on rulemaking, litigation, legislation and commercial matters. Broome, who also works out of the firm’s Oakland, Calif., office, represents clients in environmental matters before federal courts and administrative agencies. Previously, Knauss and Broome were partners at Bingham McCutchen. Knauss earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Broome earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.

Julie Domike, 56, and Alec Zacaroli, 42, have joined Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton’s Washington office as a partner and counsel, respectively, in the firm’s environmental law practice. Domike’s practice focuses on the Clean Air Act and includes enforcement defense and reviewing and challenging Environmental Protection Agency rules. Zacaroli’s practice focuses on environmental litigation and regulatory counseling with an emphasis on federal and state air-pollution-control laws. Previously, Domike and Zacaroli were partners at Wallace King Domike & Reiskin. Domike earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Zacaroli earned his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law.
