Law firms in Milwaukee are doing well by giving clients more bang for their buck, according to David Krutz, managing partner of 220-attorney Michael Best & Friedrich. His firm, for example, is working on ways to better connect its lawyers and improve communication in an effort to become more efficient, he said.

“The trend is still not cost cutting, but finding value for the clients,” said Krutz, whose firm handles corporate work including issues related to manufacturing and financial services.
