Glenn Fine, 55, has joined Dechert’s Washington office as a partner in the firm’s white-collar and securities litigation group. Previously, Fine was inspector general for the U.S. Department of Justice from December 2000 to January 2011. He earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School. In addition, David Vaughan, 46, has joined that office as a partner in the firm’s financial services group. Previously, Vaughan was the senior private fund policy adviser for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Investment Management. He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
Daron Threet, 37, has joined Holland & Knight’s Washington office as a partner in the firm’s energy and clean-technology team. Previously, he served as counsel for the Deepwater Port Program with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Maritime Administration. He earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
