Since 1985, Hologic Inc. has developed and manufactured diagnostic tools including medical imaging systems and surgical products intended specifically for women. The company’s core business units focus on breast health, gynecology and osteoporosis — examples of its products include a digital mammography system; Pap and human papilloma virus tests; and a fluoroscopy device. Headquartered in Bedford, Mass., the company operates in North America, Asia, Australia, Central America and Europe.
