The Sun Products Corp. manufactures fabric-care and household products including All, Wisk, Surf, Sun and Sunlight laundry detergents and Snuggle fabric softener. With about $2 billion in annual revenues, Wilton, Conn.-based Sun holds the second-largest market share in the $10 billion North American fabric care market, behind only The Procter & Gamble Co. It ranks No. 212 on Forbes‘ list of the largest private companies.

Sun, with 3,300 employees, was formed in 2008, during the recession, when Salt Lake City-based Huish Detergents Inc. purchased the North American laundry business of Unilever PLC. Hecht joined Sun in 2009.
