Two new partners have joined Cadwal­ader’s Washington office in the business fraud and complex litigation practices. Kenneth Wainstein, 50, focuses on corporate internal investigations and civil and criminal proceedings. He was previously a partner at O’Melveny & Myers. Prior to that, he was assistant to the president for homeland security and counterterrorism under President George W. Bush. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. Adam Lurie, 38, focuses on complex litigation, criminal, regulatory and national security matters, and congressional investigations. He was previously senior counsel to the assistant attorney general in the Criminal Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. He earned his J.D. from Yeshiva University Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
