The gulf between opponents and supporters of Arizona's immigration law is as wide as the Grand Canyon, but there was considerable consensus in their reading of the Supreme Court's arguments on Wednesday. The federal government may be in trouble on Section 2(B) of the Arizona law, and it is too hard to predict what the justices will do with the remaining three provisions of the law at issue.
