Spread is ready for its close-up

Mark Lanier’s 40-acre estate in Houston made an appearance on a recent episode of HGTV’s Million Dollar Rooms. The property, which the plaintiffs lawyer started building in 1993, features a petting zoo housing exotic birds, llamas, pigs, goats, sheep, monkeys and kangaroos. Oh, and a 100-seat amusement park train, complete with a depot. Lanier, who teaches a Sunday school class each week, also maintains a two-story research library that he makes available to eight graduate schools and seminaries.
