LOS ANGELES — A federal judge has dismissed Deloitte & Touche from a shareholder lawsuit against officers of a California bank, just one day after a different judge threw out charges against failed IndyMac Bancorp Inc.’s outside auditor, Ernst & Young, in a similar case.

U.S. District Judge Cormac Carney in Santa Ana, Calif., concluded on June 7 that the plaintiffs had not alleged sufficient facts to indicate that Deloitte had engaged in fraud.
