Do they have a Hallmark card for this? A Los Angeles-area attorney was arrested this month for smuggling heroin inside a greeting card to one of his incarcerated clients. Stephen Beecher of Stephen H. Beecher & Associates in Sherman Oaks, Calif., was charged with multiple felonies, along with his client, who is in jail on an attempted murder case, and his client’s girlfriend both of whom pleaded not guilty to the drug charges.
