The firms that added the most partners among the NLJ 350 each did it the same way — through mergers.

Ice Miller added the most partners by percentage — a sizeable 46.3 percent — bringing its total to 177. The Indianapolis-based firm had 301 lawyers following its merger with Columbus, Ohio-based Schottenstein Zox & Dunn in January, which brought in about 80 lawyers. Ice Miller ranked second in the actual number of additional partners, at 56.
