A federal judge in Iowa has awarded $4.6 million in attorney fees and costs to CRST Van Expedited Inc. and its lawyers at Jenner & Block in a sexual harassment case the company defended against the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
U.S. District Judge Linda Reade in Iowa City awarded CRST $4.1 million in attorney fees and $500,000 in costs on August 1. She ruled that the EEOC acted "unreasonably" when it accused CRST of tolerating sexual harassment against its female truck drivers.
