Camuto Group LLC designs, develops and distributes women’s fashion accessories, including footwear and handbags. Launched in 2001 by former Nine West Group Inc. co-founder Vince Camuto, the company has developed the license for its Jessica Simpson line into a recognized retail brand and launched the Tory Burch and BCBG footwear lines. Other Camuto Group offerings include Lucky Brand, Sanctuary and Arturo Chiang. Greenwich, Conn.-based Camuto Group is privately held and does not disclose revenue.
LEGAL TEAM
Jessica Elliott heads a team of one — herself. She handles about three-quarters of Camuto Group’s legal business in-house. The breakdown is 60 percent transactions, covering licensing, international distribution, private-label programs, mergers and acquisitions and all other transactional matters; 20 percent employment and immigration; 10 percent domestic trademark; and 10 percent sweepstakes and contests.
