Dylan Farrow on Feb. 1 in The New York Times told the world that 21 years ago, when she was just 7, Woody Allen took her to a closet-like attic and sexually assaulted her. Allen denied the accusations then, and on Feb. 7, also in The New York Times, denied the abuse story, including the “added creative flourishes that seem to have magically appeared” during their decadeslong estrangement.
I’ve been getting emails and calls from countless people asking me about my take on this family dispute. Even my ex-husband, with whom I haven’t lived for two decades, emailed me about it.
