Marriage: A U.S. District Judge in Texas ruled the state’s ban on same-sex marriage unconstitutional Wednesday. Same-sex couples won’t be able to marry immediately, though, and must wait for a federal appeal in the Fifth Circuit. The Texas Lawyer has the story.

Vetoed: An Arizona bill that would have allowed businesses to refuse service to LGBT customers died after Republican Gov. Jan Brewer vetoed it Wednesday evening. The Arizona Republic has details.
