Five U.S. Vietnam veterans and several Vietnam veterans groups filed a class action on March 3 alleging that thousands of their fellow vets were denied honorable discharges from the military because of behavior now attributable to post-traumatic stress disorder.

The complaint, Monk v. Mabus, was filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, Yale Law School’s Veterans Legal Services Clinic and five Yale law student interns submitted the complaint.
