A federal judge in Washington will not reconsider the denial of hundreds of claims for a share of the $1.25 billion settlement fund in the black farmers discrimination case.

The federal government agreed to pay $1.25 billion to resolve claims of loan discrimination by the U.S. Department of Agriculture that weren’t covered in a previous deal. In recent years, hundreds of potential claimants petitioned the court when their claims were denied.
