The Nebraska Supreme Court has upheld the dismissal of a products liability lawsuit brought by a woman allegedly paralyzed in a crash that involved her Chrysler PT Cruiser. The plaintiffs, the court said, failed to join a necessary party.

Plaintiffs Carolyn Carlson and Richard Carlson sued over Carolyn’s paralysis after a car accident that caused Carolyn’s seat in their Chrysler PT Cruiser to allegedly collapse as their car rolled over. The plaintiffs sued Daimler-Chrysler Corp., but Chrysler LLC filed for bankruptcy in April 2009.
