A California federal judge has dismissed a class action against Starbucks Corp. by employees who claimed the coffee company violated the California Labor Code by not paying closing-time wages.

U.S. District Judge Gary Allen Feess of the Central District of California granted Starbucks request for summary judgment on March 7. The company’s lawyers argued that the plaintiff spent minimum time at a Starbucks after closing. Read the order here from Freess.
