A California resident says in a class action against Time Warner Cable Inc. that unsolicited automated calls to his cell phone violate the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act and invade his privacy.

John Fontes filed the suit in U.S. District Court Central District of California on March 18. The complaint alleges the unsolicited auto-dialed calls resulted in charges to his prepaid cell phone bill. Read the lawsuit here.
