Despite objections from a majority of named plaintiffs, a federal judge in Maine approved a class action settlement that will give an average of $25,000 to drivers who sued FedEx Ground over overtime and pay deductions.
U.S. District Court Judge Brock Hornby said in his March 21 decision that he considered the $5.8 million settlement agreement to be the best deal the class of drivers could get.
