Several Texas businesses and individuals suffering property losses and economic damages from the March 22 collision of two vessels and resulting oil spill in have filed a class action in federal court against the vessels’ owners.
The suit was filed March 24 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas in Galveston against Kirby Inland Marine LP and Cleopatra Shipping Agency LTD.
