A dog treats manufacturer has removed to New Jersey federal court a proposed class action that claims the company marketed and sold Chinese-imported duck jerky products that caused severe illness and death in dogs.

IMS Trading Corp, aka IMS Pet Industries, filed notice of the removal of the putative class action, with claims exceeding $5million, from the Superior Court of New Jersey. Read the complaint here.
