A federal appeals court has reversed a Texas district court’s dismissal of Stephanie Odle’s individual sex discrimination claims against Wal-Mart Stores Inc., finding that the former Lubbock Wal-Mart employee’s suit can move forward because it was filed in a timely manner.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit ruled on March 31 that the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas erred in finding that the statute of limitations barred Odle’s class action suit. The court remanded the case to the lower court to rehear Odle’s claims.
