Caribbean Cruise Lines has failed to sink a putative class action that claimed the company unlawfully used robocalls to drum up business, but a federal judge allowed the company’s president to disembark from the suit.
On April 4, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan kept alive the complaint that the company broke federal and Michigan consumer protection laws prohibiting prerecorded and autodialed calls without the consent of those being called.
