ExxonMobil Corp. has been slapped with a putative class action in Louisiana federal court that accuses the company of knowingly selling defective gasoline that caused damage to consumers’ vehicle engines.
Plaintiff Roger Jean LeBlanc filed the complaint on April 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, alleging Exxon Mobil Corp. and ExxonMobil Refining & Supply Co. provided defective and harmful fuel to large numbers of retail gas stations in and around south Louisiana.
