The opening of the much-touted Silicon Valley office of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has been delayed by several months, with the new opening date expected sometime in the spring of 2015.
The PTO previously announced the branch would open by the end of 2014. But now the agency says it needs more time to renovate the space, located in San Jose City Hall. Additionally, city workers need to be moved.
