Monster Beverage Corp. has agreed to a $16.3 million cash settlement that, if approved by the court, will resolve a putative securities class action lawsuit against the company and two of its officers in federal district court in Los Angeles.
The motion to grant the proposed settlement in Cunha v. Hansen Natural Corp. was filed in the U.S. District Court Central District of California Eastern Division on April 16 by lead plaintiff Structural Ironworkers Local Union #1 Pension Fund.
