A California federal judge has certified a class of consumers suing Twinings North America Inc. accusing the tea company of misbranding green, black and white tea blends as a “natural source of antioxidants.”

However, Judge Ronald Whyte of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California ruled on April 24 to allow the class to pursue injunctive or declaratory relief only.
