A former publicist for the late entertainer Michael Jackson lost her appeal Tuesday over millions of dollars she claimed Jackson’s estate owed her.
Raymone Bain sued Jackson and his production company, MJJ Productions Inc., before Jackson died in June 2009. Bain said she was owed at least $44 million for her work, which included arranging the 25th anniversary release of Jackson’s best-selling album “Thriller.” A trial judge tossed the lawsuit in 2010, citing a 2007 release that Jackson’s lawyers said barred Bain from seeking more money.
