Data giant CoreLogic is unlawfully removing copyright information from the work of real estate photographers, and using and profiting from their photos without their permission or compensation, a class action contends.

Florida photographer Robert Stevens filed the complaint May 7. The suit alleges CoreLogic strips copyright information embedded in the photos by the photographers and adds the unattributed pictures to its Multiple Listing Service products which are sold and used by real estate agents to advertise homes and other properties.
