The latest round of antitrust allegations against the National Collegiate Athletic Association are being grouped together in federal court for pretrial purposes.

Plaintiffs are arguing in several separate cases that antitrust law is violated by the NCAA bylaws, which limit athletic scholarships to tuition and fees, room and board and course-related books. The plaintiffs also argue scholarships don’t cover the full cost of attending school.
