The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has ordered the industry-wide consolidation of all federal litigation over testosterone replacement therapies before U.S. District Judge Matthew F. Kennelly of the Northern District of Illinois.
Chairman John G. Heyburn II, writing for the panel, said “we are typically hesitant to centralize litigation on an industry-wide basis. In these circumstances, however, we think it is the best solution. Plaintiffs suggest that related cases will number in the thousands.”
