Hyundai Motor America is opposing a Virginia’s law firm motion to remand a class action over the fuel efficiency in Hyundai Elantras made in 2011 to 2013.

According to Hyundai, James B. Feinman & Associates in Lynchburg, Va., filed two duplicative actions in Virginia state court to try to circumvent the transfer of its first case to the federal multidistrict litigation. Those later two cases also were eventually transferred.
