Paytime, Inc., a nationwide firm that manages payrolls for businesses, is the subject of a proposed class action that claims the firm’s lax security contributed to a hacking attack that compromised the personal information of more than 200,000 people.

In Daniel Storm v. Paytime, Inc., three plaintiffs allege their personal and financial information was laid bare by a computer breach reportedly engineered by overseas hackers, according to the complaint, filed June 13 in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and a security breach notification report by Paytime.
