The National Law Journal last week won seven Azbee journalism awards for its work in 2013, including coverage of the U.S. Supreme Court; the federal government, specifically its courts; and for a weekly humor feature.

The NLJ won four gold prizes: for the Supreme Court Brief newsletter written by Supreme Court correspondent Tony Mauro and chief Washington correspondent Marcia Coyle; “A Life Cut Short,” senior reporter Jenna Greene’s remembrance of a classmate who was a victim of violence against lawyers; Voir Dire, a humor column; and government coverage. ASBPE, founded in 1964 as the American Society of Business Press Editors, presented the awards.
