Two California men are suing the national retailer Jos. A. Bank Clothiers Inc., claiming it artificially inflates prices of its regular merchandise to mislead consumers into believing they are getting great bargains when items go on sale.

Plaintiffs David Lucas and Eric Salerno filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California over Jos. A. Bank’s deceptive and unlawful use of so-called “sales” based on inflated, arbitrary and false “former” prices, the July 9 complaint states. Read the complaint here in Lucas v. Jos. A. Bank Clothiers.
