New House Majority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., announced that four lawyers will fill key positions in his office, including a former chief legislative counsel for outgoing Majority Leader Eric Cantor.
Nicole Gustafson, who was also senior policy adviser to Cantor, will work as legislative counsel in the majority whip’s office. Gustafson’s five years working for Cantor included two years when the Republican from Virginia was majority whip.
