The National Football League concussion lawsuits and resulting settlement captured a nation’s attention like few other cases in recent memory. Fans watched in horror as their heroes developed debilitating neurocognitive conditions. Parents wondered whether their children should play football. Currently healthy, retired players feared what their future might hold.
Much of this would never have come to light but for the litigation.
