Attempting some of the endurance powers of marathoners, three judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit on Wednesday will hear three hours of arguments in six same-sex marriage cases affecting four states.
The arguments in cases from Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee will be followed by cases from Indiana and Wisconsin before the Seventh Circuit on Aug. 26 and from Idaho and Nevada in the Ninth Circuit on Sept. 8.
