ConAgra Foods Inc. has agreed to relabel its David brand sunflower seeds packaging to disclose the sodium content in the kernels and shells coating as part of a settlement in a California class action that claimed the company misrepresented the amount of salt.

The proposed settlement, described in court papers filed Aug.1 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, provides for injunctive relief and is subject to court approval.
