Although marketed as a craft alcoholic beverage, Tito’s Handmade Vodka actually is mass-produced in a large industrial complex in a process “devoid of human hands,” a proposed class action alleges.

California plaintiff Gary Hofmann filed suit on Sept. 15 in San Diego Superior Court against Fifth Dimension Inc., maker of the niche vodka, allegeding it trades on its profile as a lovingly crafted throwback that produces a higher quality drink than the products of large commercial distilleries.
