A plaintiff’s expert was properly excluded in a products liability lawsuit against Kia Motors America Inc., the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit has ruled.
Allene Hughes died following a 2005 motor vehicle accident involving a Mack truck in Chattanooga, Tenn. After colliding with the truck, Hughes’ Kia Optima hit two parked cars, a fence, a tree, three metal posts supporting a carport awning, a flagpole and finally a house.
