C.R. Bard Inc., a manufacturer of pelvic mesh products facing over 9,000 cases in West Virginia federal court, is opposing a discovery request for the personnel files of over 40 employees.

Plaintiffs have moved to compel the personnel files for three employees—Keith Dorsey, Ronny Bracken and Dan LaFever—and for all of the Bard employees who have already been deposed in the multidistrict litigation. Project-specific engineers, division vice presidents, division presidents, project leaders and John Weiland, Bard’s chief operating officer and president, are among those who have already been deposed.
